COLVIN CLEANERS COATS 4 KIDS TO HOLD FINAL FREE COAT DISTRIBUTION DECEMBER 7TH, 2019

KENMORE, NY—The 24th annual Colvin Cleaners Coats 4 Kids campaign will hold its final free distribution of winter coats and accessories on Saturday, Dec. 7 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Belle Center, 104 Maryland St. on Buffalo’s West Side. There is limit of one coat per person and proper identification is needed. Through its first two distributions more than 10,000 coats were distributed.

“This is our first distribution at The Belle Center but working with its director, Lucy Candelario, has been wonderful and we anticipate another large turnout of families in need of a winter coat to stay warm this winter,” said Paul A. Billoni, president and CEO of the family-owned 88 years young Colvin Cleaners.

Paul’s son, Christopher, Vice President of the company, said the company is still accepting donations of coats and accessories, such as gloves, hats, scarves and boots to ensure they have more than enough for Saturday. “Having a winter coat for every child has always been our mission,” he said, adding, “We cannot thank our generous neighbors in Western New York for all of their donations. It has been extremely heart warming to see families in need walk out with a coat, gloves, hats and a scarf.”

Donations of gently used kids’ coats, gloves, hats, scarves and boots for the 24th annual Coats 4 Kids program, sponsored by The Allstate Foundation and supported by WIVB-TV and the Towne Square Media Group, can be made at Colvin Cleaners, 2375 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore and many of the Allstate Insurance agencies throughout WNY. Colvin Cleaners is also accepting cash donations to purchase new kids’ coats. Donations can be made on-line at www.coats4kidswny.com or through the Colvin Cleaners Facebook page. A receipt will be automatically sent to the donor and 100 percent of all donations will be used to purchase coats. Coats 4 Kids is a registered 501c3. In addition, anyone who would like to order kids’ coats through their favorite on-line store can have them delivered directly to Colvin Cleaners at 2375 Elmwood Ave., Kenmore, N.Y. 14217 and mark Attn. Coats 4 Kids.

Over the past 23 years, Colvin Cleaners has collected, cleaned, sorted and distributed, for free, more than 155,000 coats to children in need throughout WNY for free.
